We ARE worth it

As your body navigates its way through the menopause, your skin and hair will change – meaning how you treat it will have to too.

There’s hundreds of sites out there, all peddling the latest beauty trends and hacks. We’ve whittled them down to the ones that have products made especially for menopausal women, or have pages dedicated to us with recommended products.

We hope in the near future more companies will give more space and develop more products for women going through the change. Until then – and in a bid to make your experience easier – these are the best beauty-specific menopause sites out there.

Avon

On a mission to create a better world for women, beauty giants Avon have added perimenopausal and menopausal women to that list. Their recent Menopause TLI. Too Little Information report shows many women in mid-life struggle to find affordable products that support these specific skin needs. Their new Adapt range of skincare products have been designed to solve that problem.

Formulated from two decades of research, the range gets its name from the inclusion of adaptogenic ingredients. Adaptogens are non-toxic plant derivatives that help the body resist stressors – whether physical, chemical or biological. These soothing botanical and plant extracts include Avon’s patented Tiliacora, a leaf or vine extract from Tiliacora triandra.

We Like:
  • Their Rescue Mist for hot flushes, serum for dry skin and dream cream which tightens and plumps your skin
  • That all the products are really affordable and you can buy the set to save even more
  • Products are derived from natural plant extracts with soothing botanical adaptogens
We love:
  • Their commitment as a global brand in supporting women through the perimenopause and menopause
